Job Description
A CT Technologist is needed at a 467-bed Level II Trauma Center in Aventura, FL, certified as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center by the Joint Commission and holding American College of Radiology accreditation as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, with an accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program recognized by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
The role. The CT Technologist performs a broad range of CT scan imaging procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used to identify pathology and abnormalities across a patient population spanning newborn to geriatric. The technologist obtains informed consent, prepares patients for procedures, and provides clear explanations of what to expect throughout the imaging process. Accurate, timely image acquisition is central to supporting the clinical teams who depend on these results for diagnosis and treatment planning.
What we're looking for.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) — required
- State Registered Radiologic Technician or Registered Computerized Tomography Technician — required
- Minimum 1 year of CT or radiologic technology experience required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Schedule. Full-time, 8-hour shifts covering days and evenings with rotating weekends; available shift windows are 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.
Compensation. $30.34 - $42.47/hr
