Director Surgical Services
Full-Time / Permanent – Days – No Weekends
What qualifications you will need:
· Bachelor's degree in nursing required
· Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
· 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
· Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
· Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
Salary Estimate:$184,683.20 - $230,838.40
Incentive Bonus of Up To 15%
Sign-On Bonus: Case By Case Basis
Relocation: Case By Case Basis
Additional Information: 12 OR’s / 480 beds
Needs to be RN, hybrid person that can put on scrubs, run room/circulate/get in with team.
Someone who has background with bus development, strong physician relationships, divide & concur attitude.
Work on recruitment, development, establish strong provider relations, not in office & not shy, can relate to others.
Preference is for a current OR Director, having experience as an manager or above in higher volume or high complex OR, not surgery center, not an OR “bread & butter shop”; much more complex and fast paced. Volume in OR is very fast; experience with a larger facility is a plus
Physician engagement very strong, Physicians just need strong leader, staff willing to do what they need to do, engagement wise they are good
Staffing - no open positions & no travelers
1. How many FTES roll up to this position: About 120
2. What will the Director oversee: SPD, OR, PreOp, PACU, PAT, Endo, Anesthesia Techs
3. Why did the last Director leave: Performance
4. Who reports to the Director: Manager of SPD, Manager of OR, Manager of PACU/PAT/PreOp
