Job Description
A Sterile Processing Supervisor opportunity is available at a 317-bed acute care hospital in Tamarac, FL, certified by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration.
The role. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, this supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the Central Sterile Processing (CSP) department, with direct involvement in the orientation, development, and management of department personnel. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards governing supply and instrument processing and sterilization. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the development, review, and revision of department policies and procedures, and directing the full range of sterile processing functions to maintain consistent, efficient department operations.
What we're looking for.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an approved CSP technical program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- 3-5 years sterile processing experience REQUIRED
- Lead or supervisor experience IN AN ACUTE CARE SETTING REQUIRED
Schedule. Full-time, days, no weekends.
Compensation. $20.35 - $28.49/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
