About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sonographer to join our imaging team in Panama City, FL. This role is ideal for someone who values high-quality patient care, teamwork, and professional growth. The ideal candidate is confident performing a wide range of ultrasound exams—including General, Vascular, OB/GYN, and Pediatric studies—and is looking for a long-term professional home.
This role is based in a 238-bed hospital with a 45-bed Emergency Department, supported by a committed imaging team of 7.71 FTEs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders and established protocols

Maintain competency across varied modalities including general, vascular, OB/GYN, and pediatric ultrasound

Ensure accuracy and clarity when documenting and communicating exam results

Operate ultrasound equipment safely, troubleshooting as needed and maintaining quality assurance

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other care team members to ensure optimal workflow

Support quality improvement efforts and adhere to departmental and organizational standards
Qualifications

Associate Degree required
-
Prefer 2+ years of experience; strong new graduates will be considered

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
-
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) certification required within 1 year of hire

Compensation & Incentives
Hourly Pay Range:

$29.56 starting rate

$35.47 with 5–6 years experience

Up to $40.65 for 10+ years experience
Shift Differentials:
