Job Description
Job Responsibilities
· The RRT will provide services, timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department.
· The RRT will perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Respiratory Care Departments Policy and Procedure Manual and will assist in assigned administrative tasks, and will maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
· The RRT should also be able to provide advanced clinical expertise and education to departmental staff members and other members of the healthcare team.
Orientation Schedule: Mondays for Hospital/clinical orientation
Skills from other units that they feel will prepare the candidate for their unit: Critical care/ICU
Length of Process:
Ø How long till initial Phone screen: N/A, direct schedule in-person interviews
Ø How long till next interview: Immediate – interview/shadow completed at same time
Ø How long till onsite (if required): ASAP
Ø How is onsite handled: Manager/peer panel plus job shadow on same day
Ø Are they open or willing to interview via (Skype, FaceTime, Duo, etc): Yes
Ø How long till offer: ASAP, typically within 24 hours after interview.
Ø How is the offer made (by facility via email, phone, are we able to make the offer): Phone/email by recruiter.
General Comments
Credential Requirements: Colorado RT license, RRT credential accredited by NBRC .
Any specific licensures/ certifications needed: BLS, ACLS, PALS via AHA or ARC.
Previous RT experience is a plus.
Experience Requirements: Any – willing to consider new-grads.
Compensation Details (Salary, Sign-on, Relo Asst. Shift diff, benefits, etc.): Salary range $26.00 - $39.01. Shift diff $1.00 weekend, $4.00 night. $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles. Relo bonus available on case by case basis.
