Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Days or Nights) | Fort Walton Beach, FL
Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The ER offers diverse, challenging cases, from trauma and critical emergencies to walk-in patients — giving nurses the chance to make a real impact every day.

Highest Need: Night Shift
Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and provide emergency care to patients of all ages
- Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and follow-up instructions to patients and families
- Remain calm and effective in high-stress, fast-paced situations
- Uphold hospital policies and standards for patient safety, confidentiality, and quality
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience (within the last 3 years) required; trauma experience preferred
- Education: Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
- Licensure:
- Active Florida RN license, Multistate Compact license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Certifications:
- BLS – within 30 days of hire
- ACLS – within 90 days of hire
- PALS – within 90 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) – within 90 days of hire
- TNCC – within 60 months of hire
Ideal candidates demonstrate quick critical thinking, adaptability, and compassion under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety.

- Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
- Shifts Available:
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)
- Department: Emergency Room
- Environment: Collaborative, high-volume ER setting focused on quality and teamwork
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range:
- $27.72 – $34.32/hr (10 years’ experience)
- Up to $39.60/hr (20 years’ experience)
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: +$4.25/hr
- Specialty Differential: +$1.50/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
- Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
