Job Description
This Radiology Technologist opportunity is based in Aventura, FL at a 467-bed Level II Trauma Center that is Joint Commission–certified as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, ACR-accredited as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, and home to an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer–accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.
The role. The Radiology Technologist serves as the primary point of contact for patients seeking imaging services, guiding them through procedures with professionalism and care. Core responsibilities include performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining rigorous patient safety protocols throughout each exam, and ensuring the technical quality of images produced. The position requires sound clinical judgment in adapting to the imaging needs of a high-acuity trauma and specialty population.
What we're looking for.
- High school diploma or GED
- State Registered Radiologic Technician license (Florida)
- Registered Radiographer credential (ARRT) — required; new graduates who have passed state boards are eligible
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) — must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Schedule. Full-time, 8-hour shifts rotating across days and evenings (shift windows include 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM), with rotating weekend coverage.
Compensation. $27.09 - $37.92/hr plus Compensation- SOB on a case by case basis
