Job Description
This 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM serves the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah, receiving Level I, II, and III trauma cases by air transport given its regional location. The facility operates a broad service line that includes surgical suites, a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging services — with PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditation recognized at the national level.
The role. The Radiologic Technologist functions within the Radiology department, performing general radiography across a diverse patient population that spans pediatric through adult and geriatric cases. The position utilizes General Electric imaging equipment and documents within a Cerner EHR environment. The technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic-quality images, positioning patients appropriately for a range of radiographic studies, and adapting technique to the varied acuity levels that come with a regional trauma center, including cases flown in from the surrounding four-state area. Call coverage is required as part of this role.
What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care radiography experience
- BLS certification required at time of submission
- Active New Mexico or Compact state licensure not required at submission; candidates must obtain prior to start date
Schedule. Shifts vary; call coverage is required.
Compensation. $24.23 - $31.50/hr plus $1 sign-on bonus
