Radiation Therapist
Job Description
A hospital in Ottumwa, IA is seeking a junior-level Radiation Therapist to join its radiation oncology services. This is an in-person, on-site position with no remote work; candidates must be able to report to the facility location. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
The role. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist. Day-to-day duties follow established clinical protocols, including patient positioning, equipment operation, and documentation consistent with standard radiation therapy practice at a hospital setting.
What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
- ARRT registration required
- Current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy, including 24 hours of continuing education within a 2-year period
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Compensation. $71,100 - $96,096 per year
