We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an Acute Care environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and support services.
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Assist in crisis intervention and management of acute psychiatric symptoms.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- A valid RN nursing license.
- 1 year hospital or LTAC experience.
- We will train you into unit (No prior Psyc experience required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
+Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance
