Registered Nurse (RN) – Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Permanent, Full-Time
Sign-On Bonus Up to $15,000
Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and professional standards. Working collaboratively with medical providers and the care team, you’ll provide personalized, compassionate, and comprehensive care following established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers—embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Assess patient condition upon admission and during each shift; promptly identify and report any changes in patient status.

Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Administer prescribed medications, monitor for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action for any adverse reactions.

Provide exceptional, patient-focused care—responding promptly to requests and anticipating needs.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up instructions in clear, simple terms.

Demonstrate effective customer service and critical thinking skills while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

Perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving/lifting patients or equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
-
Experience: Minimum 1+ year of acute care experience required; orthopedic experience strongly preferred
(Open to candidates with LTACH, Home Health, or Rehab experience) -
Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred

Licensure: Current Florida RN license or compact state RN license

Certifications:

BLS Certification – American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)

ACLS Certification – Preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire
