Job Description
This opportunity is for an RN Manager, ICU in Sebring, FL. The hospital is a 126-bed acute care facility offering emergency, surgical, and inpatient and outpatient services, including the area's only dedicated Senior Emergency Room.
The role. The ICU Manager reports to the Nursing Director and practices in accordance with American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of practice and Code of Ethics. The unit includes 33 beds with an 8-bed overflow capacity. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee patient care across the unit on a 24-hour basis, assist in the development and evaluation of personnel, and maintain all operational aspects of the department in collaboration with the Nursing Director, physicians, and nursing administration. You will provide professional guidance to staff, ensure adherence to established policies and accepted standards of care, and foster cooperative working relationships across departments.
What we're looking for.
- Associate Degree (Registered Nurse)
- (RN) Registered Nurse licensure
- Minimum 5 years of Critical Care clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-time Charge Nurse/Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Schedule. Full-time, mixed schedule with no weekends.
Compensation. $42.36 - $42.36/hr
