Salary Range is from $31.60 to $47.40 per hour - based on years of experience.
Shifts: FT 3pm to 3am OR 7pm to 7am hrs. with rotating weekends
Key duties involve conducting regular patient assessments and triage assessments for medical and traumatic emergencies.
You'll also assess injury causation and ensure reporting of neglect or abuse to the appropriate agencies.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is crucial for formulating care plans, and you'll be responsible for verifying, documenting, and administering medication appropriately.
In addition, you'll provide healthcare education to patients and families, documenting the information accordingly.
Evaluating patients' progression towards desired outcomes and documenting the effectiveness of interventions will be integral to your role.
Qualifications required for this position include:
1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
If holding a Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) OR Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
