Job Description
This is a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse opportunity based in Hudson, FL. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced ED environment, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
The role. Reporting within the Emergency Department, the RN is responsible for comprehensive, individualized patient assessment and care delivery in accordance with the scope and standards of nursing practice. Core responsibilities include conducting regular pain assessments and reassessments following interventions, performing procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers, and maintaining timely and thorough documentation in the patient medical record. The RN also plays a key role in patient and family education — translating complex medical terminology into understandable terms and preparing patients and caregivers for follow-up self-management, including medications, potential side effects, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
What we're looking for.
- Registered Nurse Diploma (or equivalent RN licensure)
- Active (RN) Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 6 months of Emergency Department RN experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
Schedule. Full-time, nights with rotating weekends.
Compensation. $33.85 - $47.02/hr plus $15,000 sign-on bonus
