Job Summary:
The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 + years of Recent Acute Care leadership experience as a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager in the Critical Care (relief charge experience is not qualified)
- Associate Degree
· Florida RN licensure required
· BLS and ACLS required upon hire
Salary Range: $95-105K (may be able to push for $108-110K for a really strong candidate) * Based on Years of experience
Annual merit: Raises every July

Hospital has 42 Critical Care beds total – 18 beds in one tower for ICU/CVICU, and 23 beds in the main ICU
- About 135 people in the department including Managers, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, New Grad RNs, Nurse Externs, Unit Secretaries
- This will be one of 2 Managers on the team, reporting to a Director Critical Care, then ACNO, then CNO
- This ICU they see neuro, surgical, trauma, respiratory, etc.
