Job Description
A Physical Therapist opportunity is available at a 558-bed acute care hospital in Atlantis, FL — a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center, and American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program offering cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, spine care, and more.
The role. The Physical Therapist manages the complete process of therapeutic care for an assigned patient caseload, working in coordination with physicians and the broader patient care team. Core responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and assessments, participating in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, and delivering skilled therapeutic interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics. The PT instructs patients, families, and caregivers in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside of therapy sessions. The role also requires prioritizing caseload, determining daily staffing needs, and coordinating assignments and handoffs to support continuity of care across the care continuum.
What we're looking for.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of FL REQUIRED
- Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- New graduates are welcome to apply but must hold a current FL license at time of employment
Schedule. Full-time, days, no weekends.
Compensation. $36.53 - $53.20/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
