Key Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patients prior to surgery

Provide education to patients and families regarding the perioperative process

Prepare patients for procedures, including IV therapy, medication administration, and surgical site verification

Participate in and uphold patient safety protocols including briefing, time-outs, debriefing, and universal protocols

Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations

Consistently deliver patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based practices

Collaborate as an integral member of a multidisciplinary surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists

Apply strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and nursing process skills to deliver safe and effective care

Continuously monitor patient condition, document changes, and communicate relevant information

Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, post-op expectations, and follow-up care
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year recent OR RN experience (Circulating and/or Scrub) required

Active RN license
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Nursing diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Compensation & Incentives
-
Salary Range: $34.00 – $48.00 per hour (maximum considered with 18+ years of experience)
-
Shift Differentials: +$4.00 for nights and weekends

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
