Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Compensation & Relocation Support
- $10, 000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $10, 000 toward relocation and immigration expenses
- Full visa and immigration sponsorship for qualified Canadian RNs
Position Details
- Self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance for predictability and work-life balance
- Culture of mutual respect and collaboration among surgical team members
- Ongoing investment in surgical equipment, instruments, and patient safety technology
- Regular rounding with unit leadership to ensure nurse feedback is heard and implemented
- On-call responsibilities during select non-business hours
What You Will Do
- Assess and evaluate patients prior to surgery and throughout the perioperative process
- Educate patients and families on procedures and perioperative care
- Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification
- Participate in surgical safety protocols such as briefings, time outs, and debriefings
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and technical skills to deliver safe nursing care
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and care provided
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Canadian Registered Nurse eligible for U.S. licensure in Colorado
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent Operating Room / perioperative RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- ACLS and PALS certification within six (6) months of hire
- CNOR preferred
