Minimum Qualifications:
A. Education
- Completion of an accredited Physician’s Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
B. Experience
- Level I: New graduate or less than two years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Level II: Minimum of two years of experience in a medical setting, including at least one year in a family practice clinic.
C. Licensure/Certifications/Registrations
- Current valid California Physician’s Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner license, or an Interim Permit.
- Valid Basic Life Support/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months.
D. Essential Skills
- Strong administrative and procedural decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in medical examinations and standard medical procedures.
- Extensive knowledge in various medical domains.
- Exceptional communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
