A Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunity is available at a 380-bed acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce, FL. The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center, and home to the area's only Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, with services spanning interventional cardiac care including open-heart surgery, orthopedics, oncology, and adult and pediatric emergency services.

The role. In this position, you will perform a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Responsibilities include operating and regulating imaging equipment, as well as developing and organizing films. You will work within a nuclear medicine department that is part of a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services environment supporting a high-acuity patient population across multiple specialties.

What we're looking for.
  • Associate Degree
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)- REQUIRED
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Full-time, days/evenings with rotating weekends; 8-hour shifts only (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM).

Compensation. $30.34 - $42.47/hr
