FLORIDA (Palatka) - Medical Technologist

Job Summary:

Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will Conduct a wide range of complex laboratory tests on patient samples such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. Tests may include hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.

Shifts: 6:00AM - 2:30PM OR 7:00PM-7:00AM

Hourly Wage: $27 - $35 per/hour

Sign-On-Bonus: $5,000 (Day Shift Only)

Relocation Assistance: Available

Expected Tasks:

Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results by performing quality control procedures, maintaining equipment, and adhering to standard operating procedures.
Data Analysis: Analyze test results, interpret findings, and accurately report findings to physicians or other healthcare providers in a timely manner.
Instrument Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other relevant regulatory agencies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all laboratory tests performed, including patient information, test results, and quality control data.

Requirements:

Associates Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
NEW Grads Welcome. 0 - 1 Years Experience (preferred)
Valid Florida Technologist License.
