FLORIDA (Brooksville) - Medical Technologist
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Florida Medical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases. You will Conduct a wide range of complex laboratory tests on patient samples such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. Tests may include hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.
Shift: (Night) 10:00PM - 6:30AM (Rotating Weekends)
Hourly Wage: $30 - $40 per/hour (Shift Differential Available)
Sign-On-Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Available
Expected Task:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank.
- Prepare specimens for analysis and accurately interpret and report test results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functioning.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality control and QA.
- You will regulatory schedule in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology sections of the laboratory. You will perform non-technical duties including, but not limited to specimen collection, processing and referral testing within the department as required.
- Perform quality control procedures per protocol and completes necessary documentation.
- Assure that quality control results are within acceptable guidelines and parameters
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- 3 Years Experience (preferred)
- Valid Florida Technologist License (required).
