Position: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse




Location: Savannah, GA




Employment Type: Full-Time (Days & Nights, 12-Hour Shifts, Weekend Rotation)




As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate treatment plans to achieve nursing department goals. Your role is integral to the interdependent team, with a focus on positive patient and departmental outcomes.




Responsibilities:
  • Assume overall accountability for assigned patients
  • Manage the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, exam preparation, general nursing care, and coordinating admissions, testing, and discharges
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test and examination results
  • Administer medications as per physician orders
  • Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans
  • Respond to and redirect incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when necessary




To qualify for this position, you must have:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role




Additional Information:
  • Salary Range: Minimum - $28.23, Mid - $35.29, Max - $42.35
  • Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for distances over 250 miles, $2,500 for distances over 50 miles
  • Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
  • Shift Differentials: $5 for nights, $10 for weekends
