Job Title: Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse

Location: Asheville, NC

Compensation:

Minimum pay rate: $30.00 per hour - $44.50 per hour
Sign-on and relocation bonuses will be offered on a case-by-case basis.

Certifications & Licensure:

Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON.
BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
National Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.

Required Experience:

Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment, with a focus on busy units and high patient volume.
Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:5 (may occasionally be 1:6).
Nurse-driven and autonomous work environment with modified self-scheduling.
Additional support provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is welcome.

Differentials:

2nd Shift: $4.00 per hour
3rd Shift: $6.00 per hour
Weekend: $3.50 per hour
Differentials are stackable.
This position is eligible for an extra $5.00 per hour float pool premium once off orientation (8-12 weeks).

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med-Surg/Tele Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in Asheville, NC. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work across various units within our hospital, providing care to patients in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Qualifications:

Current and valid licensure as a registered nurse
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
National Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care (hospital) environment with experience in busy units and high patient volume.
Experience in the Emergency Department (ED) is a valuable asset.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
