Position Name: Med-Surg Oncology RN
Shift Details:
· Days (Rotating Weekends): 7a-7p
· Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7p-7a
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Oncology RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Act as an advocate for patient safety.
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
Job Requirements:
· 1 year of Recent ACUTE CARE RN experience
If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
- Current BLS required
- Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
- BSN is preferred
Additional Information:
Nurse Patient to Ratio: 1:5- 1:6
Salary Range: $27.72- $33 an HR (5 years)- $36.30 (10 years)- $39.60 (15+)
Sign ON: $10k Days / $15k Nights
Relo: Case By Case
Shift Differentials: $3 Nights and $2 weekends
