Full Time • Days or Nights
Rotating Weekends Required
Sign On Bonus:
• $10,000 Days
• $15,000 Nights

Position Overview
A well established acute care hospital on Florida’s Emerald Coast is seeking a compassionate and motivated Med Surg Registered Nurse to join its team. This 28 bed private room unit provides care to a diverse adult patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a Med Surg RN, you will deliver high quality, patient centered care while working alongside physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure positive clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
What You Will Do
• Assess patient condition upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse responses
• Perform ordered procedures and interventions while ensuring accurate documentation
• Provide direct bedside care and respond promptly to patient needs
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver comprehensive, compassionate nursing care
Unit Details
• 28 private beds
• Nurse to patient ratio may go up to 1:6
Qualifications
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required (acute care experience not required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of hire
Compensation
• Minimum: $26.40 per hour
• Midpoint: $33.00 per hour (approximately 10 years of experience)
• Maximum: $39.60 per hour (15 or more years of experience)
Shift Differential:
• $4.25 for nights
