A Mammography Technologist opportunity is available in Reno, NV, within an outpatient breast imaging center environment. This full-time role sits within a dedicated breast center and focuses exclusively on diagnostic mammography for adult and geriatric patients.

The role. Reporting to the Manager of the breast center, the Mammography Technologist produces diagnostic mammograms and assists the radiologist and referring physicians with mammographic procedures. The position carries direct technical decision-making authority over image quality, requiring a high degree of proficiency with mammographic equipment and the ability to apply technical judgment to achieve the best possible diagnostic outcome. The technologist provides hands-on patient care and must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety needs of adult and geriatric patients. Familiarity with hospital and department computer systems is also required to support day-to-day workflow.

What we're looking for.
  • ARRT and NV State License (Must have license before start date)
  • BLS certification
  • 2+ years of Mammography Tech experience is required

Schedule. Full-time, 40 hours per week; specific schedule to be discussed during the interview process and may include weekends, holidays, and requires working 2 or 3 major holidays plus one additional shift per schedule period; no call required.

Compensation. $37.92 - $51.50/hr
