Job Title: Mammogram Technologist




Location: San Antonio, TX




Compensation:
  • Salary range from $26.85 - $36.91 based on years of experience.
  • Weekend Differentials: $6.50.
  • On Call Compensation: $5.00.
  • Sign-On Bonus (SOB): $5,000.
  • Relocation expenses paid out on the 2/3rd check with a 2-year commitment.




Shifts Available:
  • Full-Time Days (7-10 hours/rotating weekends)
  • Full-Time Evenings (7-10 hours/weekdays only)
  • Shift 8-5




Minimum Education, Experience, and Certification:
  • High School graduate or GED preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology or 10+ years of experience in modality required.
  • Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • Current CPR certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.




General Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience.
  • Strong proficiency in mammography techniques and procedures.
  • Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols in radiology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.




Responsibilities:
  1. Perform mammographic examinations and produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions throughout the imaging process.
  3. Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and reporting any issues promptly.
  4. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  6. Document and maintain accurate patient records, including relevant medical history and examination details.
  7. Stay informed about advancements in mammography technology and participate in ongoing professional development.
  8. Assist in the training and supervision of new technologists or students, as needed.
