Registered Nurse – ICU (Night Shift)
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) to join our high-acuity critical care team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to critically ill patients, using evidence-based practices and sound clinical judgment. This role requires strong collaboration, adaptability, and a passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and nursing best practices
- Perform procedures, monitoring, and interventions as ordered by physicians and advanced practice providers
- Accurately document all care provided in the medical record in a timely and comprehensive manner
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
- Provide instruction on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as lifestyle modifications, diet, and exercise
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that promote optimal recovery
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with evidence-based standards of care
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (ICU or higher-acuity experience strongly preferred; strong Med-Surg RNs may be considered)
- Education: Associate Degree required
Licensure:
- Active RN license in Florida or Compact State RN license (compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation)
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) – required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS – required within 30 days of hire
- TNCC or CCRN (Adult) – required within 1 year of hire

Position Details:
- Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Unit Size: 48 beds
- Environment: Supportive and collaborative team with a focus on high-acuity, evidence-based critical care
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $30.60 – $45.90 per hour (based on experience)
- Midpoint: $38.25 (approx. 8 years’ experience)
- Shift Differentials:
- Nights: +$4.25/hr
- Weekends: +$3.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
- Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
