Position: ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Shifts Available:

• Days – Rotating Weekends

• Nights – Rotating Weekends

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our highly respected critical care team. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strong patient and family advocate, ensuring safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

• Perform continuous and frequent assessments for patients requiring complex and high-acuity interventions

• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and autonomy in care decisions

• Monitor and document patient changes promptly and accurately

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members

• Participate in clinical initiatives, quality improvement, and evidence-based care practices

• Maintain a high level of patient-focused care while demonstrating empathy, communication, and professionalism

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience in ER, ICU, or CVICU within the last 3 years

  • PCU/IMCU experience may be considered if candidate has at least 2 years of experience

• Active Florida RN license or eligibility to obtain prior to start

  • Candidates with 3+ years of RN experience and a compact license may proceed while applying for Florida licensure

  • Candidates with less than 3 years of experience must pass NCLEX in Florida if not licensed

• BLS required

• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

• BSN preferred

• CCRN certification preferred

Additional Required Certifications (Time-Based)

• Basic Life Support (BLS): within 30 days of hire

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): within 90 days of hire

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention: within 90 days of hire

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): within 90 days of hire

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary Range:

  • $26.40 – $36.30/hour (based on up to 10 years of experience)

  • Up to $39.60/hour for candidates with 18+ years of experience

• Shift Differentials:

  • +$4.25 for night shift

  • +$1.50 specialty differential

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • $10,000 for day shift

  • $15,000 for night shift
