Job Description
Position Name: Registered Nurse CVICU
Shift Preference: Days Only (7a-7p)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic CVICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner
What will you will do in this role:
· Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
· Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
· Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
- 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) acute care ER, ICU or CVICU experience. *Would consider PCU/IMCU experience but must have 2 years of exp to qualify
- If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
- If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
- · BLS required
- · ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- · BSN is preferred
- · CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.
Salary Range: 27.72 – 34.32 (10 years of experience) – 39.60 (15+ years of experience)
Specialty Pay Differential: $1.50/hr
Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr nightshift differential
Sign on: $10k Days / $15k Nights
Relocation Assistance: Up to 5k
