Job Description


Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, effective decision-maker, and adept multitasker, ready to adapt to the ever-changing environment of the Emergency Room. In this role, you will provide nursing care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill conditions. You will work alongside a supportive team dedicated to delivering excellent care in a collaborative manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop individualized care plans and identify expected outcomes for each patient.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing nursing care needs.
  • Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and coordinate referrals as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a patient-focused approach while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 3 years (trauma experience preferred).
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Associate Degree or RN Diploma required.
  • Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within specified time frames.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and other relevant certifications must be completed within specified time frames.

Shift Availability:
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends) or Days (Rotating Weekends).

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary ranging from $27.72 to $39.60 per hour, based on experience.
  • $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
