Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care environment. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity settings and are confident managing a diverse patient population using team-based nursing models.
Position Offerings
- Competitive salary range: $29.05 – $46.48 per hour based on years of experience
Sign-on bonus
- $10,000 for candidates with less than 2 years of experience
- $25,000 for candidates with 2 or more years of experience
- Two-year commitment required for full bonus payout
- Relocation assistance available based on relocation area
- One-year minimum commitment required

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty being applied for
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
- Education: RN ADN required
Licensure
- Open to candidates without state or compact licensure
- Licensure must be obtained prior to start date
Certifications
- BLS required upon submission
- Additional required life support certifications may be obtained after hire
Unit Overview
- Emergency Department with 48 beds plus flex space
- Patient ratios
- 4:1 in the main Emergency Department
- 6:1 in Fast Track
- Team nursing and pod-based care model
- Dedicated social worker and unit educator assigned to the department
Technology and Equipment
- Zoll Defibrillator
- Level One Blood Transfuser
- QinFlow Blood Warmer
- Hospira Plum 360 infusion pumps
- Freestyle and iSTAT point-of-care testing
- Ultrasound-guided IV access
- Electronic Health Record: Cerner
Patient Population
- Adult, geriatric, and psychiatric patients
- Common conditions include ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric conditions, substance use disorders, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain
Required Skills and Experience
- Trauma care
- Stroke management
- STEMI
- Sepsis
- Moderate sedation
Preferred Experience
- Two or more years of Emergency Department nursing experience
