Job Description

We are in search of an experienced emergency medicine physician. If you are passionate about your role in providing quality healthcare, are team oriented, are effective in communications and direction, and have a desire to contribute to and be a part of a small but vibrant community near major cities in Washington state and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, we are looking for you. Includes up to 20K for sign-on and relocation as well as other incentives.

Job Summary

The ER physician is responsible for treating patients that present in the Emergency Room. As part of a care team, the Provider should be willing to help the hospital, healthcare district, and community advance by acting as a consultant for providers in local clinics, supervising Urgent Care providers, covering Rapid Response requests in the Medical Unit, and supporting improvement initiatives in the ED to include ICD-10 compliance, Care Transformation, Electronic Medical Record integration, Utilization Review, Quality Initiatives, and training drills

Required Education and Experience

Successful completion of an approved ACGME/AOA accredited residency program with fulfillment or qualification of board certification within the requirements of the applicant’s Board.

Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations

·        Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in the state of Washington

·        Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine

·        DEA certification

·        Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
