Job Description
A hospital in Florence, AL is seeking a senior-level Director of Nursing to lead its Emergency Services department. This is an on-site leadership role requiring regular in-person presence at the facility. Partial relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
The role. The Director of Nursing for Emergency Services is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the emergency department, including leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering collaborative relationships across the organization. This individual will apply strong analytical capabilities to interpret departmental data and drive performance-improvement initiatives that support high-quality patient care delivery.
What we're looking for.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective working relationships
- Current Alabama RN license or eligibility for licensure
- No adverse actions on nursing license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement performance-improvement initiatives
- BLS and ACLS certification required (or must be obtained within a defined timeframe)
- Preferred: Direct clinical or leadership experience in an emergency department setting
Schedule. This position requires on-site, in-person reporting; remote work is not available. Travel is not required for this role.
Compensation. $70,000 - $130,000 per year
