Position: Director of Case Management - Registered Nurse




Overview:




We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Case Management department as the Director. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the Case Management team, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, optimal patient care coordination, and adherence to regulatory standards.




Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Case Management team.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
  1. Care Coordination and Utilization Management:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of patient care plans and ensure coordination among healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization while maintaining high-quality patient care.
  1. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare standards in Case Management practices.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  1. Strategic Planning and Evaluation:
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve Case Management processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  1. Interdepartmental Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including nursing, physicians, social services, and administration, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.





Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with Florida certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • 3years of progressive experience in Healthcare Management, with 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, utilization review, and care coordination processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.
