Job Description
Middle management position with 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas. The Director will promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resources. This position required an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparation. Plans and facilitates program development, fiscal planning and management of the Cardiology Services. Directs and coordinates the activities of Cardiac Services to include, Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab, and programmatic responsibilities for EKG and Echo services. Establishes departmental procedures within the framework established by the Hospital Administration and coordinates the needs established by the Medical Staff.
What qualifications you will need:
· Current Valid California RN License (will not accept Pending Licensure)
· Current BCLS Certification
· Current ACLS Certification
· Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
· Enrollment in BS Degree program or BSN required. Master’s Degree preferred
· Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Acute Care Cardiac Cath Lab
