Position: Perm - Coding Educator - Hospital Inpatient

Position Information: Perm/Remote

Salary range: $55,078.40 - $72,976.80 - $90,875.20 Annual

Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Please include required certs.

3 years inpatient coding experience with RHIT/RHIA
3 years inpatient coding trainer, educator, auditor, or manager experience
looking for strong Acute Inpatient Coding experience.
Experience educating a coding team/department and provided presentations.

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

Attendance and Flextime policy
Coding Telecommuting policy

New state of the art hospital in prime location. Long term experienced staff with cohesive family environment. Motivated progressive physicians.

Annual dues are paid
Equipment provided
Provide enough CE’s to fulfill credential requirements
Flexible schedule allowed (see flex policy attached)
Offer a coding career ladder with opportunities for coding and leadership within the HIM and Coding Departments
Flexibility to live within 15 approved states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Louisiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
Utilize 3M Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) software
