Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you will operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal anatomy for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will be integral in providing accurate diagnoses and contributing to the overall patient care experience.







Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
  • Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Monitor and assess patients for any adverse reactions during the procedure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review and analyze images for diagnostic quality.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new staff members or students as needed.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety protocols.








Qualifications:

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in CT imaging.
  • State licensure or certification to practice as a CT Technologist in Florida.
  • Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related computer systems.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in CT imaging.
