Job Description

Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) team. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions.
Assist in preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes, and addressing their concerns.
Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions during procedures, recognizing and responding to any changes.
Administer medications, manage catheters, and assist the cardiologist during various cardiac procedures.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans and patient safety.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [Florida].
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting, with expertise in cardiac care.
Proficient in operating equipment and tools used in the Cath Lab.
Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
