Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) team. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions.
- Assist in preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes, and addressing their concerns.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions during procedures, recognizing and responding to any changes.
- Administer medications, manage catheters, and assist the cardiologist during various cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans and patient safety.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [Florida].
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting, with expertise in cardiac care.
- Proficient in operating equipment and tools used in the Cath Lab.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
