Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Surgical Tech has opened up at a hospital in the Lewisville, KY area. This full-time position involves working 12, 10, or 9 hour shift schedules, with a mix of day and evening hours plus on-call responsibilities. The salary range is $21.73-$33.69 for regular techs, and $24.42-$37.85 for certified techs.
The hospital is looking to fill this position as soon as possible. The Surgical Tech will be part of a 4-room cardiovascular and thoracic surgery operating unit, handling 2-3 complex cases per day involving procedures like CABG, valve replacements, ventricular assist devices, and artificial heart transplants. The hospital is planning to expand to a 5th operating room soon.
The ideal candidate will have previous scrub tech experience, preferably in CVOR. BLS certification is required, and CVOR experience is preferred. The technician will work in a 1:1 ratio with surgeons, providing highly skilled assistance with surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies. Comprehensive training will be provided, including an 8-12 week orientation for new hires.

- Retention Package: $20K over 2 years ($5K after 1 year, $5K after 2 years) + $5K vendor bonus after 1 year
