CVOR Surgical Technologist
Job Description
A hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a mid-level CVOR Surgical Technologist to join its cardiovascular operating room team. This is an in-person, on-site position requiring direct, hands-on involvement in cardiovascular surgical procedures.
The role. The CVOR Surgical Technologist will provide scrub and instrument support during cardiovascular surgical cases in the operating room. Responsibilities follow standard CVOR surgical technologist practice, including preparation of the sterile field, anticipation of surgeon needs, and appropriate handling of specialized cardiovascular instrumentation throughout procedures.
What we're looking for.
- Must hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); CST number and expiration date must be included with submission
- Minimum of one year of CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist experience, current and continuous to date
- An updated resume with accurate job history dates and units worked in is required
Additional details. No visa sponsorship is available for this position. Partial relocation assistance is offered; travel is not required for the role.
Compensation. $54,300 - $83,300 per year
