Job Description
Position: CT Technologist (Days, Night, Weekend)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and optimal imaging quality.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients correctly and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients throughout the procedure and assist in managing any adverse reactions.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
- Document procedures, patient histories, and any observations in medical records accurately.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT or equivalent).
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and understanding imaging protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting technical issues with imaging equipment.
