Job Description
This CT Technologist position is based in Atlantis, FL, at a 558-bed acute care hospital serving Palm Beach County. The facility is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center, and an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program, with additional service lines spanning cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, spine, and obstetrics.
The role. The CT Technologist works across inpatient and outpatient settings, operating CT scan equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities across a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric. The technologist determines the most suitable anatomical positioning and applies appropriate shielding for each patient, obtains informed consent, and prepares and educates patients before each procedure. Throughout every case, the technologist collaborates with physicians and imaging staff, maintains aseptic and sterile technique, and adheres to infection control measures specific to CT operations. Accurate case documentation is completed immediately following each procedure.
What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
- One year of CT experience preferred; seasoned radiographers considered for CT training
- Florida State Department of Health General Radiographer license required
- ARRT CT Registry required or registry eligible; must be obtained within six months of hire
Schedule. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Compensation. $30.34 - $42.47/hr plus $20,000 sign-on bonus
