CT Technologist- Weekends Only
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
The Computed Tomography (C.T.) A technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
Qualifications
- License/certification/registration:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT)
- Medical Radiologic Technologists (MRT) state licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Experience Required:
- 1 year of recent acute care experience as a CT Tech required
Willing to look at candidates that don't have recent acute care experience. However, as long as it is not more than 5 years that they have not been in acute care. (NOT Guaranteed that they would accept but would entertain)
Addtional Information
The CT tech would be working on GE scanners. We use Meditech and GE PACS for charging and verifying exams. During the 16-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, there is a fairly wide range of how many exams can be done between those hours, but it is roughly 50-60 exams (not patients). One patient can have 3 or 4 exams ordered on them at one time.
General Comments
Weekend Shift Differential: $4.00/hr.
