Shift: Evenings/Nights (Three 12hr Shifts Weekly)

Salary Range: $33 - $47 per hour

Sign On Bonus: $10k

Location: Gainesville, FL - Hospital and (FSED) Locations







Postion Summary:

As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team by operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to obtain diagnostic images of patients' internal structures for medical interpretation. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while performing scans, following protocols to capture high-quality images, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information. Perform CT Services at Hospitals and Free Standing Emergency Departments (FSED) with rotating location shift assignments.







Job Duties:



  • Perform CT Scans: Operate CT equipment to capture images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and bones according to established protocols.



  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Administer contrast agents as required for certain scans, following established protocols and safety guidelines.



  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel for repairs when necessary.



  • Image Quality Assurance: Review captured images to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments to technique or positioning as needed to obtain clear and accurate diagnostic images.



  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam details, and image documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies related to patient confidentiality and record-keeping.



  • Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families regarding CT procedures, preparation instructions, and any post-scan recommendations or follow-up care.







Qualifications:

- Certification (ARRT)

- Florida State General Radiology License

- 1 Year of Experience (preferred)
