Job Description
A CT Technologist opportunity is available in Pensacola, FL, supporting imaging services across multiple freestanding emergency department locations.
The role. Working under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Tech performs Radiology and CAT scan procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. The position carries independent responsibility for designated areas and procedures, applying prescribed ionizing radiation with sound judgment and initiative. The technologist performs examinations across a full patient age spectrum, from neonate to geriatric, and is expected to maintain the highest standard of technical quality in every study.
What we're looking for.
- One year of CT experience required; candidates for the freestanding emergency department (FSED) positions must have acute care experience
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Schedule. Two schedule options are available: FSED Pea Ridge — Days/Weekends, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; FSED Perdido — Evenings/Weekdays, Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Compensation. $27.42 - $39.76/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
