Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Admissions department to join our over 500 bed, Acute Care Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in various medical procedures.
Schedule: Days OR Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available
Job Type: Full-time (Direct Hire)

Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment: Conducting initial assessments of patients upon admission, including reviewing medical history, current health status, and specific needs to ensure appropriate placement and care planning.
2. Admission Procedures: Managing the admission process, including completing necessary documentation, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that all required consent forms and paperwork are accurately completed.
3. Coordination of Care: Collaborating with medical, nursing, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth transition from admission to active treatment, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
4. Patient Education: Providing patients and families with information about hospital procedures, policies, and what to expect during their stay, as well as answering any questions they may have.
5. Monitoring and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions, including clinical notes, care plans, and progress reports.
Requirements:
- 1 year of acute care RN experience.
- Have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification (or able to obtain).
- Registered Nurse License (Florida).
