Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Unit (Full-Time)
Location: Kansas City, MO
Shifts Available: Days & Nights (rotating weekends)
Compensation: $30.04 – $41.50/hour (based on experience)
Incentives: $30,000 sign-on bonus (2-year commitment, limited time)
Shift Differentials: +$4.00/hour Nights | +$4.00/hour Weekends
Relocation Assistance: Case by case
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join our team in Kansas City, MO. Our Med-Surg Unit provides care to adult patient populations with a wide variety of medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurologic conditions. RNs will have opportunities to expand their knowledge base while caring for post-surgical patients, including general, urology, and vascular cases.
This is a Level I Trauma Facility where Med-Surg patients are more complex than average. The unit is designed to help nurses grow clinically in a challenging yet supportive environment.

Unit Size: 49 beds

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and follow standards of care and disease-specific protocols

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

Provide direct patient care and supervise non-licensed staff within scope of practice

Educate and support patients and families regarding conditions, treatment, and discharge planning

Promote compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Current RN license in Missouri or active compact license

BLS certification (required upon hire)

Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (does not need to be recent)
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $30.04 – $41.50/hour
