Job Description:




We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. You will contribute your expertise, clinical skills, and empathetic approach to create a positive healthcare experience for patients and their families.




Responsibilities:



  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial aspects, to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create and modify patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and changing conditions.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate and appropriate interventions while maintaining composure and following established protocols.
  • Assist in patient procedures, surgeries, and other medical interventions, ensuring sterile techniques and patient comfort.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families, addressing their concerns and providing information to alleviate anxieties.
  • Act as an advocate for patients' rights and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard in their care decisions.
  • Maintain infection control practices, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to a clean and organized patient care environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and nursing trends.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and support to promote a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in healthcare committees, and engage in interprofessional collaboration to enhance patient care and outcomes.





Qualifications:



  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the applicable state or region. Or compact.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Or an ADN.
  • Proven clinical competence and experience in delivering patient-centered care across various healthcare settings.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in fast-paced and complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to handle stress, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in using EMR and other healthcare technology.
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and professional integrity.
